Act 2

Sebastian believes that both his parents and his sister have died. He is being taken care of by Antonio in Illyria. Sebastian feels that is now time to wonder off on his own but Antonio wants nothing more than to go with him. Sebastian tries and tries to convince him that he shall go alone because he doesn’t want his bad luck to brush off, but Antonio believes none of it. Antonio feels so strongly towards Sebastian that he decides no words can change his mind, he is going to accompany him.
Cesarios ring is returned to him, but he is confused because they say it’s from Olivia’s house, yet he does not remember leaving it there. Malvolio also wanted to make sure that Cesario knew that by Olivia giving the ring back it meant that Olivia doesn’t love him (actually a girl).  In the end Cesario realizes that Olivia actually loves him and that this is a sign. Cesario thinks that Olivia can do much better than a girl pretending to be a guy.
Sir Toby, Sir Andrew and Feste de Clown were having a few drinks and becoming very loud. Maria tells them that is in their best interest if they quite down unless they want Malvolio mad. The men don’t listen to her advice and when Malvolio arrives and gets mad saying he will surely tell Olivia of this rudeness. The men and Maria decide to write a letter to Malvolio saying how much Olivia is really in love with him just so he will be humiliated.
Sir Andrew and Toby sit and drink some more and plan out how they will hide and then watch Malvolio open the letter. The next day the men hide and watch him open the letter so they are sure that he feels that Olivia is in love with him. He wears bright yellow clothing and is rude to the kinsmen because that is what the letter that Maria forged said to do. He looks like a fool when he does all this in front of Olivia because she actually hates when men do that they just wanted him to look like a fool.
